Douglas A. Buethe of Winfield for 12 years Douglas A. Buethe, 65, was born Jan. 8, 1947, in Chicago, and passed away Aug. 11, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. He enjoyed motorcycles, theater, shooting, scuba diving and dogs. He is survived by his life companion, Susan Carr of Winfield; son, Skylar Watson of Tempe, AZ; daughters, Lara (Juan) Hernandez of West Chicago, IL and Jennifer (Dan) Guerrero of St. Charles, IL; three grandchildren; brother, Robert (Karen) of Fairfax, WV; sisters, Marybert (Stan) Zelesnik of Glen Ellyn and Ellen (Michael) Matheu of Arvada, CO; and dogs, Gibson and the late Max. A memorial service will be Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W 500 Butterfield Road, Lombard, IL 60148. Inurnment is private.
