1965 Classmates
"There is a great good in returning to a landscape that has had extraordinary meaning in one's life. It happens that we return to such places in our minds irresistibly.  There are certain villages and towns, mountains and plains that having seen them, walked in them, lived in them even for a day we keep forever in the mind's eye.  They become indispensable to our well-being.  They define us and we say I am who I am because I have been there."
N. Scott Momaday

After graduation I went to Northern Ill U for a couple of years until I was bored. Worked with rock bands until I was recruited by a government agency for work in Southeast Asia .Later I worked security for couriers for the diamond mart .and stock exchange .Went back to school and became a computer hardware technician .Attained position of Senior Field Engineer with Siemens Nixdorf Information Ssstems until outsourced . Summer of 08 a young woman on her cell phone drove the wrong way down the highway and took out me and my bike . August of 10 my wife of 25 years died from COPD , so the last few years have been rough but one has to look the world in the face and keep going .

What a pleasure it's been to look at everyone's photo again! It certainly brings back many wonderful memories.
I've had a terrific career in the investment arena, continue to write articles for the national magazines, and have authored 4 books about retirement and money.
Have enjoyed travel all over the world, volunteer regularly at a local hospital here in the Denver area, and will look forward to seeing all of you at our 50th reunion!

The first performance artist to find a mainstream audience, Laurie Anderson was born on June 5, 1947, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, an affiuent suburb of Chicago. After studying violin in high school, Anderson attended Barnard College in New York City, majoring in art history. She continued her education at Columbia University, where she earned a master’s degree in fine arts. As part of New York’s conceptual art scene, Anderson began producing performance pieces in the early 1970s. In Duets on Ice (1974), she played the violin, accompanied by a taped instrumental track hidden inside the violin. While playing, she wore ice skates encased in ice. When the ice melted, the performance was over. In other early works, including Songs and Stories for the Insomniac (1975) and Refried Beans for Instants (1976). Anderson combined music, sound, and the spoken word. Using references to popular culture to produce social and political satire, the stories she told in performance were anthologized in two collections, Airwaves (1977) and Music for Electronic and Recorded Material (1977).

My husband Tom and I have 2 children; actually they are mine from a former marriage but Tom has been the real father.

Scott ( son ) is studying to be an Episcopal Priest and should be ordained the end of this year. He is awesome, even conducted the funeral service for my sister Kay. He and wife Kirstin have 2 ndaughters and a son Graham.

Kristina (daughter ) is an Optomitrist with a practice in Bartlett; Bartlett Vision. She is an amazing woman who has joined me in Bartlett Rotary Club and BartlettLions Club. She and husband Bill (Deputy Fire Chief in Palatine) have 2 children - Grace and Lucas.

Since Glenbard, I moved to Bartlett and began my career in banking. I retired as Vice President of Business Development 3 years ago after a wonderful stint of 38 years with Harris Bank. But my true love was always the Village of Bartlett.

Currently We are members of Arts in Bartlett, Bartlett Historical Society, Tri-Village Garden Club, and Bartlett 4th of July Committee. I am a member of Bartlett Rotary with a double Paul Harris fellowship; a member of Bartlett Lions Club as a Melvin Jones Fellow.

Tom is the current Supervisor of Wayne Township. I am a past President of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce and the Bartlett Park District. Also, a Past President of the Bartlett Rotary Club.

I was elected to the Bartlett Board of Trustees in 1991 and have served in that position ever since. In April, I will begin my 7th term as Trustee of the Village of Bartlett. Who'd a thunk!!!!!!

Tom and I have a lake house in Lac du Flambeau Wisconsin. We spend a lot of time there in the summer months. However, our hearts are in Bartlett.
