1965 Classmates
"There is a great good in returning to a landscape that has had extraordinary meaning in one's life. It happens that we return to such places in our minds irresistibly. There are certain villages and towns, mountains and plains that having seen them, walked in them, lived in them even for a day we keep forever in the mind's eye. They become indispensable to our well-being. They define us and we say I am who I am because I have been there."

Comment:
What a difference 50 years will make. I have worked as a news writer for WGN, taught motorcycle safety, traveled the world and worked in senior management. Of my 4 children, the youngest passed away 4 years ago; I currently have 7 grandchildren (wow). I have my MA in philosophy, which along with my curiosity contributes to my sense of adventure. I am preparing to stop working for someone else and start the second chapter of my life focused on art making. I look forward to rekindling old friendships! |
