Nancy C. Asbrand, age 69, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Peotone, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.
She was born in Chicago, IL on July 31, 1947 and moved to Glen Ellyn, IL when she was 7 years old. She married Howard Asbrand on January 29, 1966 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Peotone and went on to be a loving and devoted wife for 51 years, a wonderful mother to four children, and a special grandmother to five grandchildren.

Ruth Ratke, 74 years old of Saint Charles, IL passed away on December 5,2021
She was born on November 3, 1947, to the late Robert (Peggy Kopp) Ratke.
Ruth was a talented seamstress and owned a shop, A Thimble Change. She was involved in the Hosanna! Lutheran Church in St. Charles, IL before she moved to Kenosha. She loved being with her children and grandchildren and watching her son, Joe, sculpt and paint. She never missed a day without partaking in some dark chocolate. She was happiest when she was socializing with people and making friends instantly.

1946-09-13 2019-05-17Steve Reardon, 72, passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2019. Stephen was the devoted husband of Maureen Massart. He was born September 13, 1946 in Geneva, IL to Lamar and Olive Reardon, who preceded him in death. His sister, Linnea Adair, lives in Oakland, CA. A graduate of Glenbard West High School and the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, Steve worked in the communications field and as a teacher. Steve's lifelong interest in civic affairs included being involved with IVI-IPO since 1969.
